Why I’m Running for Assembly in District 113
There comes a point when you stop talking about what’s wrong — and decide to step forward and do something about it.
For me, that point came after years of building businesses in New York, meeting payroll, navigating regulations, and watching how decisions made in Albany directly impact working families across Saratoga, Warren, and Washington Counties.
I’ve spent my career in the real world — not in politics.
I’ve built companies from the ground up. I’ve hired employees. I’ve managed through economic uncertainty. I’ve faced rising costs, shifting regulations, and the constant pressure that small business owners understand all too well.
And I’ve seen something troubling.
New York has become too expensive.
Too complicated.
Too disconnected from the people it’s supposed to serve.
That’s why I decided to run for Assembly in District 113.
This Isn’t About Politics — It’s About Practical Leadership
Assembly District 113 is made up of hardworking communities. From growing areas in Saratoga County to rural towns in Washington County to the economic engines of Warren County, our district reflects the best of Upstate New York.
But families here are feeling squeezed.
Property taxes remain high. Energy bills are rising. Small businesses are burdened by mandates. Seniors on fixed incomes are struggling with increasing costs.
Albany continues to pass policies that may sound good in theory but often fail in practice — especially in Upstate communities.
We deserve leadership that understands the difference.
What My Experience Brings to the Table
I am not a career politician. I’m an entrepreneur. That matters.
Because when you’ve:
Met payroll during difficult economic cycles
Created jobs in competitive environments
Managed budgets that actually have to balance
Navigated state agencies and regulations
Worked through crises like COVID shutdowns
You gain perspective that can’t be taught in political theory.
You learn that good intentions are not enough. Execution matters. Fiscal discipline matters. Accountability matters.
In business, if something doesn’t work, you adjust. In government, too often, failure leads to more spending instead of smarter solutions. I want to bring real-world decision-making into Albany.
Upstate Raised. Upstate Focused.
I was born in Plattsburgh and raised in Saratoga. I understand the character of our region — independence, hard work, community pride, and resilience.
Our district is unique:
We are not New York City.
We are not downstate suburbs.
Our economy, geography, and priorities are different.
Too often, state policy is driven by downstate political interests without enough consideration for Upstate realities.
Assembly District 113 deserves a strong voice — one that understands local agriculture, hospitality, trades, small manufacturers, healthcare systems, and rural infrastructure.
Why Now?
Because we are at a crossroads.
New York is losing residents. Young families are relocating. Small businesses are reconsidering expansion. Seniors are questioning whether they can afford to stay.
We can continue down the same path — or we can recalibrate.
I’m not running because I think politics is glamorous.
I’m running because I believe:
Albany must prioritize affordability
Small businesses need relief, not more mandates
Public safety must be restored
Rural healthcare must be protected
Local communities deserve more control
And I believe my background uniquely prepares me to fight for those priorities.
Service Is Responsibility
I have built businesses. I have created jobs. I have worked through adversity. I have seen both success and struggle.
Those experiences shape how I view leadership.
Leadership is not about headlines.
It’s about responsibility.
If elected, I will approach the Assembly the same way I approach business:
Study the details
Understand the numbers
Ask hard questions
Demand accountability
Focus on results
Our district deserves nothing less.
This Campaign Is About You
This campaign is not about party labels or political games.
It’s about families trying to make ends meet. It’s about seniors worried about property taxes. It’s about small business owners trying to survive. It’s about communities that want safety and stability.
Assembly District 113 deserves leadership that listens first — and acts decisively. That’s why I’m running. And I would be honored to earn your support.
