TEXT MESSAGING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Text Messaging Terms and Conditions govern the SMS and MMS text-messaging program operated by the Committee to Elect Allen Caruso (“Committee,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
1. Organization Name
The text-messaging program is operated by:

By providing your mobile telephone number and affirmatively opting in to receive text messages, you consent to receive recurring SMS and MMS messages from or on behalf of the Committee to Elect Allen Caruso.
Messages may be sent using automated technology. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of making a contribution, volunteering, attending an event, purchasing any goods or services, or otherwise supporting the campaign.

Event announcements and reminders
Volunteer opportunities
Voter registration and voter engagement information
Early voting and Election Day information

3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. You can generally expect to receive approximately 2–8 text messages per month.
Message frequency may increase during time-sensitive campaign activities, special events, fundraising deadlines, early voting, or immediately before an election.
4. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply.
Any charges associated with receiving or sending text messages are determined by your wireless carrier and mobile-service plan. The Committee to Elect Allen Caruso is not responsible for charges imposed by your wireless carrier.

To request more information or assistance, reply HELP to any text message from the Committee to Elect Allen Caruso.

6. STOP / Opt-Out Information
To stop receiving text messages entirely, reply STOP to any text message from the Committee to Elect Allen Caruso.
After replying STOP, you may receive one final text message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You will no longer receive campaign text messages unless you subsequently provide new consent to receive them.
Where supported by our messaging provider, other commonly recognized opt-out words such as CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, or REVOKE may also be honored.
7. Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. Information collected through our text-messaging program is handled in accordance with the Committee to Elect Allen Caruso Privacy Policy.

The Committee to Elect Allen Caruso does not sell user data or personal information to third parties.
Mobile phone numbers, text-messaging opt-in information, and consent will not be sold, rented, shared, or provided to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
No mobile opt-in data or consent will be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Mobile information may be provided to vendors, telecommunications providers, consultants, and other service providers solely as necessary to operate the Committee’s messaging program. Those service providers may not use the information for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
8. Eligibility and Authorization
By signing up for text messages, you represent that:
You are the subscriber or authorized user of the mobile number provided.
You are authorized to consent to receive messages at that number.
The information you provide is accurate.
You will notify us or opt out if your mobile number changes or is reassigned.
9. Message Delivery
Text-message delivery is subject to transmission by your wireless carrier and is not guaranteed.
Messages may be delayed, blocked, or undelivered because of wireless carrier restrictions, network conditions, technical issues, device settings, or other circumstances outside the Committee’s control.
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
10. Changes to These Terms
The Committee to Elect Allen Caruso may modify, suspend, or discontinue its text-messaging program or update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
Any revised Terms and Conditions will be posted on the Committee’s website with an updated effective date.
