Allen Caruso is a small business owner, job creator, and lifelong Upstate New Yorker running for New York State Assembly in District 113.

Born in Plattsburgh and raised in Saratoga, Allen understands firsthand the values that define our region — hard work, family, independence, and community.

As an entrepreneur, Allen has:

  • Built and operated multiple small businesses

  • Created jobs across New York and beyond

  • Navigated the challenges of high taxes, rising labor costs, and burdensome regulations

  • Successfully led through the COVID shutdowns

Allen believes Albany has made it too expensive to live, work, and own a business in New York. Families are stretched thin. Small businesses are struggling to make payroll. Young people are leaving the state.

He’s running to change that.
