Public Safety and Bail Reform

Public safety is not partisan — it is foundational.

Many residents across Assembly District 113 have expressed concern about the impact of bail reform policies passed in recent years.

While reform efforts may have been well-intentioned, the results have raised legitimate questions about repeat offenders, accountability, and judicial discretion.

Communities in Saratoga, Warren, and Washington Counties deserve policies that protect both fairness and safety.

As your Assembly representative, I will support:

  • Restoring judicial discretion

  • Strengthening penalties for repeat violent offenders

  • Supporting law enforcement funding and training

  • Investing in mental health resources that prevent crime

We can protect civil liberties while ensuring our neighborhoods remain safe.

Albany must be willing to adjust policies when the data and community experience demand it.
